What You'll Do

  • Lead daily accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll
  • Review reconciliations and financial reports for accuracy
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Create financial statements and support external tax accountants
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 4 accounting staff
  • Optimize labor scheduling and budgeting using tools like Power BI
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and improve processes

    • What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with remote stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong leadership abilities

    • Work Environment

    Office-based with hybrid flexibility. Candidates must be able to commute to Seymour, CT four days a week.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00 / yr. Benefits :
