About The Position We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Anesthesiology for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in New York. Starting Dec 1, 2025, this role features Monday through Friday day shifts and includes both weekday and weekend call coverage. The assignment involves a diverse case mix without cardiac, neurosurgical, or thoracic cases. Job Details Location : New York Start Date : Dec 1, 2025 LOA : 30 days Provider Type Needed : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesiology Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm; weeknight call 7pm–7am; 24-hour weekend call 7am–7am Responsibilities and Duties Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, endoscopy, vascular, obstetric, orthopedic, bariatric surgery, and urogynecology cases Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status during procedures Adhere to all protocols and standards of care for anesthesia delivery Maintain accurate and timely documentation Additional Information NBCRNA certification required New York state license required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required No cardiac, neurosurgical, or thoracic cases Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
