Overview
Data Center Operations Maintenance Planner for our Reno office. The role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and documenting maintenance activities for critical data center infrastructure, ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA, and all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for all critical infrastructure systems.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance policies, OSHA standards, and state / county regulations.
- Collaborate with Facilities Operations to align maintenance activities with operational priorities.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the CMMS, including work orders, asset data, and vendor records.
- Monitor maintenance budgets, support cost analysis, and identify efficiency opportunities.
- Verify vendor authorization and compliance with safety and orientation requirements.
- Enforce company safety and operational standards, addressing non-compliant vendor behavior as needed.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
- Support continuous improvement, workflow optimization, and predictive maintenance initiatives.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data center, utilities, industrial maintenance, or critical facilities environments.Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, and generator systems.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Management, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Ability to interpret technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and system schematics.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination with vendors and internal teams.High attention to detail with proven documentation and compliance accuracy.Proactive problem-solving mindset and strong organizational skills.Commitment to safety and operational excellence.Salary
