Job descriptionPosition is in a hospital Med / Surg Telemetry unit Care provided for adult medical and surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (7am-7 : 30pm / 7pm-7 : 30am), with shifts assigned based on hospital needs Travelers may be required to work both day and night shifts if necessary Must work at least every other holiday Orientation includes required ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration safety tests, with two attempts allowed Annual and specialty modules must be completed as part of onboarding and are tracked through Silkroad All candidates must complete onsite badging and fingerprinting prior to their start date Locals are accepted at the same bill rate as travelers Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to the facility for one year after their last end date Holiday coverage is required for assigned holidays PAPRs are only available for caregivers with approved medical or religious exemption if facial hair is present Travelers are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be active Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med / Surg Tele experience within the last two years required Must provide one professional reference from a current or former manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty for consideration Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation is required No open background check cases or license infractions accepted High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
