The Hotel General Manager at the Warehouse Hotel inside the Champion Mill Conference Center is responsible for the development and management of a unique property that is an integral part of the Spooky Nook Sports complex. This role leads operational managers across all areas of the hotel in accordance with brand standards to ensure superior guest service and product quality. Responsibilities also include oversight of Food and Beverage operations for the Warehouse Hotel and Champion Mill Conference Center.

Essential Job Functions
Achieve budgeted revenue and profit goals in hotel and food / beverage, balancing cost with guest satisfaction while identifying ways to grow occupancyMaximize revenue through inventory controlOversee the property budget forecasts and review monthly profit and loss statements against budgetary goalsOversee key property food and beverage departments (banquets, restaurant / bar)Utilize budgets to communicate financial objectivesWork with the corporate Finance Team to oversee all hotel accounting functions. This includes (but is not limited to) accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and ordering procedures.Work with Human Resources on hiring needs for the hotel, appropriate pay levels, and team member policiesTrain team members in accordance with company standardsMotivate and provide direction to all team members to maximize engagementCommunicate all policies and procedures to entire staff. Conducts regular team meetings to provide various information including company communications, policy reviews, local property activities, goals, etc.Ensure that team member related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with company policiesWork with other department managers to ensure proper staffing levels based on guest volumeWork with the necessary department to manage all sales and marketing activities of the property and meet revenue objectivesSupports sales and marketing activities of the property and in conjunction Spooky Nook Sports, to ensure budgeted revenues are consistently achievedEnsure sales and marketing strategy is aligned with brand strategy and is effectively executed against established goalsInteract with guests and other customers on a frequent basis to obtain feedback about their experience on propertyEnsure that departments achieve or exceed guest’s service expectationsEnsure compliance with property legal, safety, operations, labor and service standards; conducts both routine and short notice quality assurance audits with specific departmentsConduct detailed walk-throughs to ensure building, public areas, kitchen and grounds are well-maintained, safe and meet or exceed guest expectationsAll other duties as assignedRequirements :
An accumulation of at least 10 years of hotel experience in management, food and beverage, business development, operations, or strategic planningAdequate knowledge of the food and beverage operations as it relates to the hospitality industryAt least 5 years of experience in a senior management role with multiple direct reports21 years of age or olderDependable transportation to and from workMust have a valid Driver’s LicenseLanguage skills : Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communicationAbility to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessaryAvailability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and / or holidays as neededAuthorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experienceKnowledge of operations and planning for large, banquets, trade shows, corporate meetings, restaurant operations, and youth travel sportsDemonstrated ability to lead and inspire a teamPassionate about guest service and advocacyThorough knowledge of sales principles, brand, product, and service managementHigh level of interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public to serve as liaison to high profile members of the community and the tourism industryHighly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality Guest-focused / service-oriented; ability to see big picture and impact on Company.Supports Company mission as serves as an advocate for its products and servicesDemonstrates a positive and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, and fellow employees. Work environment : Semi-quiet office environment within an upbeat, high-energy sports and event complex with heavy foot traffic and frequent large crowds.Physical requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, sitting and standing. The team member will be frequently required to bend, reach with hands and arms, lift, push, pull, talk, hear, smell, stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.Lifting requirements : The team member will occasionally be required to lift, push, pull, lower and / or move up to 30 lbs occasionally.Noise Level : The noise level in this environment is typically variable.Work schedule : The work schedule may fluctuate to including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Travel : Occasional overnight travel to Spooky Nook Sports in Manheim, PA.
