Job Summary

The Financial Systems and Innovation Manager is responsible for managing the implementation of new accounting and finance systems and processes. This role ensures accurate transaction processing, validates internal controls, and facilitates effective information flow for financial reporting, analysis, and planning. The manager collaborates with IT, accounting, finance and other departments to drive system improvements, automation, and innovation in accounting and finance workflows.

Job Duties

• Manage implementation of new accounting and finance systems and processes
• Collaborate with IT to develop and automate operational reports
• Provide recommendations to improve existing accounting and finance workflows
• Facilitate information flow for financial reporting, analysis, and planning
• Ensure accuracy of transaction processing from source systems through general ledger
• Validate internal controls and audit accounting records and balances
• Serve as liaison between accounting and finance staff, IT, and other related departments
• Assist in development of accounting and finance staff training materials and policy / procedure documentation
