Overview

The Manager, UX Design leads a team of UX designers focused on creating intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences. This role will oversee the development of the user experience for the public-facing website, account opening, and online and mobile banking platforms. Additionally, the Manager, UX Design will help oversee and participate in work to understand our members’ behaviors, shape visual concepts for new and improved digital experiences that meet our business goals, elevate our design quality, and help deepen member relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of UX designers to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences. Oversee the user experience development for the public-facing website, account opening, and online and mobile banking platforms. Collaborate to understand members’ behaviors and shape visual concepts for new and improved digital experiences that meet business goals, elevate design quality, and deepen member relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, or comparable experience.
• 5+ years of experience in UI / UX design
• 1+ years of experience in a leadership or people management role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in interaction design, visual design, and accessibility.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma).
• Deep understanding of usability testing, responsive design, mobile-first principles, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for member-centric design and digital innovation.
• Ability to foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement for the UX team.
