Job Summary
Under general supervision, enter and maintain all records in the Denver Health Foundation database. The Senior Data Entry Clerk is
responsible for ensuring the accurate entry of all records into the database records bank so that all reports can be generated without error.
The Senior Data Entry Clerk is also responsible for ensuring all donor acknowledgement letters are sent out in a timely manner. The Senior
Data Entry Clerk will work closely with both the Operations Manager and Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support all members of the
Denver Health Foundation.
Essential Functions :
Data record entry includes recording all cash and in-kind gifts received. (15%)
Create, as needed, new database codes to ensure proper record keeping (15%)
Prepare Daily and Weekly Cash Reports (10%)
Prepare Weekly In-Kind gift reports (10%)
Prepare Foundation Thank You letters to Donors in a timely manner (10%)
Prepare Foundation Check Deposit on a weekly basis (10%)
Process Credit Card and Cash donations as they come in (10%)
Generate ad-hoc reports as needed by Foundation Staff (10%)
Maintain all Foundation Donor files (10%)
Education :
High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience :
1-3 years of clerical or data entry experience Required and
Experience with database entry preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with donors, patients, families and internal and external
providers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
