Senior Java Developer

A company is looking for a Senior Java Developer to work in Pittsburgh, PA, and multiple client locations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize Kafka producers / consumers and Kafka Streams for high-volume data flows

Build Spring Boot microservices for streaming and API integration, and design RESTful APIs

Operate services on the OpenShift platform and collaborate with architecture teams on integration patterns

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required

5+ years of Java experience with strong Spring Boot skills

Hands-on experience with Kafka development and OpenShift platform

Experience with distributed systems and event-driven design

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and container orchestration
