Senior Security Engineer - Blockchain Experience Required

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join an open-source blockchain team creating a high-performance network that focuses on real-world applications such as enabling payments and providing aid while supporting 8 million users.

This company interacts with some of the largest and most respected charities & companies both inside and outside of the blockchain space and has facilitated nearly $4 billion in asset exchanges. As a result, their security landscape is complex both internally and across their wider chain and vendor ecosystem.

They are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to assist in building their security program from a hands-on perspective and facilitate secure development best practices in both their internal systems and wider community. You would focus on assessing and enabling a 'security first' mindset as the community and product grows, so would interact with 3rd parties as well as internal Dev teams

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer with :

• Experience working in the blockchain space with an understanding of security in this community (THIS IS A STRICT REQUIREMENT)
• Strong understanding of common security best practices, tools, frameworks and networking
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Cloud and software languages for the purpose of scripting & application security

An ideal Senior Security Engineer would also :

Salary : $150,000 - $200,000 alongside other benefits

Location : San Francisco Hybrid ~ 3 days a week in office - Open to in USA relocations

VISA : H1B & Greencard sponsorship available if already attained
