The Role :

As the Shipper, you would be responsible for packing and shipping within the panel department.

Additionally, you will help support with cross training and demonstrating competency in all essential job functions of the department working at different workstations as production needs require.

Your Responsibilities :

• Designs and builds proper shipping containers.
• Loads products, parts, or merchandise into designated packages, boxes, or crates.
• Uses various saws, banding and other packaging equipment, pneumatic staple guns, box closers / cutters and hand tools to package products for shipment.
• Works with Forklift, Hand Truck and / or Pull Truck to arrange for the transportation of products; may use overhead crane.
• Operates machines preparing products for shipment, use of label, UPS LTL shipment programs.
• Reviews packing lists to ensure all required items are included, using foam, plastic, or other materials to pack containers.
• Other duties as assigned through identified and established process improvements.
