Senior PACS Administrator
Location : Vancouver, WA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Salary Range : $98,000 – $125,000 / year (commensurate with experience)
Relocation Assistance : May be offered as a sign-on bonus
Overview
We are seeking a Senior PACS Administrator to provide technical and operational leadership for imaging systems across Radiology and Cardiology. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, leading day-to-day operations, and driving large-scale imaging initiatives in partnership with IT and clinical teams.
The ideal candidate brings strong PACS expertise, project management experience, and a collaborative approach to working with physicians, radiologists, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily PACS operations to ensure maximum system uptime and reliability.
- Lead and coordinate major imaging projects, including PACS upgrades, new implementations, and integration with Epic Radiant.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Imaging, IT, and vendors to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
- Direct daily workflow for PACS team members; assign tasks and monitor progress.
- Troubleshoot complex imaging system issues and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop, document, and maintain system configurations, access controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Deliver exceptional support and customer service to radiologists, technologists, and clinical users.
- Stay current on emerging PACS technologies, patches, and upgrades to maintain compliance and system performance.

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.4+ years of experience in a senior-level PACS or imaging systems project management role.In-depth knowledge of PACS architecture, DICOM, HL7, and imaging integration standards.Experience with systems such as Optum PACS, PowerScribe, MagView, Hologic, Visage, or Ascend preferred.Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and clinical end users.Experience leading system upgrades, testing, and vendor coordination.Work Environment
