Our client, a dynamic and growth-focused manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join its Finance team. This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional who takes ownership of their work and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary / Hourly Rate :

$28 / hr

Position Overview :

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment execution, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and capable of meeting deadlines while working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist :

• Review and verify vendor invoices for coding accuracy and required approvals.
• Enter and upload invoices into the ERP system.
• Prepare and process weekly vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Set up new vendor accounts and maintain accurate vendor files.
• Assist with 1099 reporting and year-end compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and other internal teams to support efficient operations.
• Provide support for month-end close activities and audit documentation.
