Skillforce is currently hiring several Pipefitters for work in the Louisville, KY area! This is a contract to hire role, working 40+ hours a week across several commercial sites. Pipefitters will be primarily working with stainless steel pipe and medgas experience is a plus! Pay for this role is up to $30 / hr depending upon experience.

Pipefitter Responsibilities :

• Select and arrange pipes according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes.
• Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauge kits.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
• Modify and maintain pipe systems and components as necessary.
• Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and mechanical engineers to ensure specifications are met.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulations to create a risk-free environment.
