About the Role
In FTI Consultings Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment we focus on our clients strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.
What Youll Do
Key responsibilities include :
- Provide technical expertise and experience at an advanced level; participate in managing client relationships, client service and practice management
- Supervise and direct client engagements : provide technical expertise, perform analyses, supervise and guide consultants and senior consultants while managing project timelines and senior managements expectations
- Assist with practice development including the creation of pitches and conducting market research
Responsibilities include :
Working with junior staff and reviewing work products, financial statements, models and reports for accuracy and completenessConducting discussions with clients about status and results of work performedPreparing and reviewing work plans; ensuring assignments are carried out within scope, budgeted time and delivery commitmentsFollowing progress of engagements, updating Managing Directors and Senior Managing Directors while leveraging junior team members to create work productsHelping resolve analytical and technical problems / questions as they ariseIndependently preparing work product when needed including financial models such as three statement models and 13-week forecastsApply business, economics, finance, accounting and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines (e.g. financial modeling, ratio and comparable company analysis, review / analysis of financial statements and projections, assessing business plans, conducting due diligence, etc.)Understand, synthesize and analyze large amounts of data associated with complex restructuring, due diligence and litigation cases. Provide relevant analysis and summaries for interested parties including clients, FTI management or attorneysHow Youll Grow
This is an excellent opportunity for a person with proven, hands-on corporate finance experience who wants to provide analytical services to debtors, creditors and other stakeholders of companies in times of critical need.
What You Will Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance5+ years of post-graduation professional work experience in investment banking, corporate lending, consulting, public accounting, or other professional services environmentThis role requires travel to clients and FTI officesPreferred Qualifications
Experience with bankruptcy and restructuring processes, or related financial and analytical work, with strong project management skills and a proven ability to lead teamsTotal Wellbeing
