Music Therapist (Part Time)

Summary

We are currently hiring for part time work as a music therapist in the Danvers area on a part-time basis (20 hours / week).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Implement music therapy programs to address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of patients used to promote wellness, manage stress, alleviate pain, express feelings, enhance memory, and improve communication.
• Serves as a resource person and guide providing musical experiences that will aid in patient care.
• Designs and conducts music sessions for individuals and groups, based on client needs.
• Coordinates therapy with other team members and shares response to music therapy intervention.
