Van Driver

The Baltimore Country Club is currently looking for a candidate with exceptional driving abilities to help keep our two clubhouses running efficiently. The Van Driver will go between the Roland Park Clubhouse and the Five Farm Clubhouse multiple times throughout the day delivering mail, supplies, as well as food and beverage items needed.

ABOUT BALTIMORE COUNTRY CLUB

Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3,300 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. We are all about the simple truth and doing what is right, not what is easy.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A VAN DRIVER :

Van Drivers keep both clubhouses running in an efficient manner by making trips throughout the day picking up and delivering items to the respective clubhouses. A Van Driver may be asked to deliver a wide range of items from internal mail, cakes, bread, and wine. The Drivers not only deliver supplies between the two clubhouses but are also the main source of transportation for our interns living off campus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified candidates must possess a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Time management Skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50+lbs.
• Experience driving a 10-person passenger van is strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of driving experience.

Experience working in a Country Club is strongly preferred, but not required. Are you a team player? Are you able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment? Do you go above and beyond to help others?
