Sustainability, Resilience, & Future Ready Office Assistant Director

Salary : $34.60- $44.11

The primary responsibilities for this position include providing direct assistance to the Director and Assistant Director of City of Orlando's Office of Sustainability, Resilience, & Future Ready in the management of all office staff and providing leadership toward the development, management, implementation, outreach, monitoring, iterating and evolving, and reporting of initiatives designed to advance the city's goals, as specified in the Municipal Sustainability Operations, Community Sustainability Action, and Future-Ready Master Plans.

Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Sustainability, Business Administration, Public Policy, Public Administration, Engineering, Social Science required or related field and four (4) years of experience in the area of sustainability, engineering, design, or related field, including three (3) years in a progressively responsible supervisory capacity required or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Some budget experience preferred. Valid Florida Driver's License required.

This is a full-time CONTRACT position with the same benefits as Regular full-time. Most contracts are renewable for terms of one year.

• Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
• Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
• Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
• Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
