What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the retail environment.

Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits and assisting with crowd management as needed.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Assist with emergency evacuations and / or other response activities as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements :

Customer service experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
