Safety Manager - Construction
Position Overview
The Safety Manager - Construction is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety policies and procedures on construction sites to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Provide safety training and education to all employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records and documentation as required by law and company policy.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that safety requirements are integrated into all phases of construction projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field.Proven experience as a Safety Manager in the construction industry.In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.Strong communication and leadership skills.Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) is preferred.Benefits
