Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health RN with at least one year of skilled home health experience and an active OR RN license for day shifts in the Medford, OR area.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Home health setting serving Medford, OR and surrounding areas
  • Day shifts with a 5x8 hour schedule, typically 8 : 00 to 16 : 30
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 1, with up to 6 home visits per day and a 30 productivity point standard
  • No weekends or on-call required
  • No floating required between like units, but may float to other facilities within the state if needed
  • Uses EPIC and Oasis for charting; Oasis experience required
  • Travel may include occasional drives up to a 50+ mile radius
  • Mileage reimbursement provided at IRS standard
  • Primary responsibilities include delivering skilled nursing care to home health patients, completing Oasis assessments, and maintaining accurate documentation in EPIC
  • System organizes client visits to minimize drive and windshield time
  • Former permanent employees must wait at least three months before returning as a traveler and cannot apply if within 50 miles of the facility
  • Minimal to no RTO preferred; significant time-off requests may impact consideration
  • Local candidates within 50-75 miles accepted at the same rate
  • Free parking available
  • Any color scrubs may be worn
  • Compliance modules must be completed pre-start and annually
  • First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

  • Active OR RN license required prior to start
  • At least one year of recent skilled home health RN experience required
  • BCLS certification required
  • Strong proficiency and recent experience with Oasis documentation required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required
  • Completion of all required health screenings, including COVID primary series and at least one booster
  • Able to provide two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years in a comparable specialty
