Locum Tenens Physician Opportunity Near Old Station, CA Profession : Physician Specialty : Traumatic Brain Injury / General Medicine Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing

We are currently seeking dedicated physicians to join our team on a locum tenens basis to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) exams. This opportunity offers flexibility with PRN shifts and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

PRN - as needed basis

Shifts TBD

Half day is 4 hours or less

Full day is 4-8 hours

Job Responsibilities :

Conduct a variety of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams.

Perform interview-based evaluations with physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.

Use of a Goniometer for physical assessments.

No prescribing or treatment involved.

Complete standardized forms (DBQs) within 48 hours of exam completion.

Submit evaluations through the provider portal for review.

Requirements :

Certification : Must be Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R.

Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required.

Proficient in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.

Must own a personal laptop (No Apple Laptops / MACs).

Training : Provided for Reporting / Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).

DMA Certification : Available (CME credits) - required once privileged if not already certified.

Qualifications :

Strong background in General Medicine or experience with TBI exams preferred.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and efficiently.
