Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description :

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibilities of this role will involve identifying, recording, reporting, tracking remediation efforts, and promptly closing security vulnerabilities identified across our Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) applications and technologies. A strong background in DevOps practices will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities :

Security Vulnerability Identification : Utilize advanced tools and methodologies to identify security vulnerabilities within EBS applications and related technologies.

Documentation and Reporting : Record and report identified vulnerabilities, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation for further analysis and remediation.

Remediation Tracking : Track remediation efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of security issues.

Closure of Security Vulnerabilities : Promptly and effectively close identified security vulnerabilities, implementing robust solutions to enhance overall system security.

DevOps Integration : Leverage DevOps principles and practices to integrate security measures seamlessly into the development and deployment lifecycle.

Collaboration : Work closely with development and operations teams to embed security best practices and awareness throughout the software development lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and security technologies to proactively enhance the security posture of our systems.

Training and Awareness : Provide training and awareness programs to internal teams on security best practices, ensuring a culture of security consciousness.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a Security Engineer with a focus on vulnerability management.

In-depth knowledge of security concepts, protocols, and tools.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and the ability to integrate security seamlessly into DevOps processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar will be a plus.
