An exciting locum tenens position is available for a Board Certified Invasive-Interventional Cardiologist near Pineville, LA. This role involves providing critical cardiology services at a Level II trauma center. The position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team and manage a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Coverage Needs :

    • Provide 24-hour unassigned ER call coverage.

  • Inpatient consults for a Level II trauma center.
  • Ensure coverage for both unassigned ER and inpatient census associated with cardiology.
  • Required to cover one weekend per month.
  • Patient Volume : Approximately 10 patients per day.
  • Facility Support : Staffing support provided. Note that there is no mid-level support available.
  • EMR System : Eclinical Works

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Required. Board Certified Cardiologist is preferred.
  • Case Logs : Must provide case logs from the previous 24 months.
  • Experience : Experience in managing a diverse cardiology case load and providing 24-hour ER call coverage.
