POSITION SUMMARY

A Fitness Director (FD) is responsible for all personal training at all of our locations. The Fitness Director will hire and develop all new trainers and will be responsible for training revenue growth with the essential focus of coaching and training all personal trainers to achieve success. Coaching areas include hiring, sales, and service. The FD also serves as a ‘guidance counselor’ to all trainers, ‘educator and mentor’ for all training staff, and ’strategist’ for the Club Director. The FD is responsible for managing the Trainer Onboarding Process which includes conducting the fitness consultation, determining the right combination of personnel and tools for each member, and managing the retention score to ensure meaningful touch points for the lifetime of the member. While skills in training and programming are important, the FD will function more as the sales manager and leader of the entire fitness department.
