Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Slip Sheet Forklift Operator that plays a specialized role in material handling, focusing on efficiency, safety, and precision for one of our clients located in the North Houston, Texas area.

Pay Rate : $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours : Monday Friday (sometimes weekends) 08 : 00am 05 : 00pm OT as needed

Slip Sheet Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities :

• Slip Sheet Forklift Operation : Skillfully maneuver forklifts with push-pull attachments to relocate pallet-free unitized goods with precision and care.
• Cargo Handling : Efficiently load and unload shipments from trailers or containers using slip sheets, maintaining product integrity and reducing transit risks.
• Inventory Transport : Relocate materials to designated areasincluding storage, staging, or dispatch zoneswhile ensuring records are consistently accurate.
• Forklift Upkeep : Conduct routine checks and minor service of equipment to uphold operational safety and performance standards.
• Safety Standards Adherence : Maintain strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company guidelines, promoting a hazard-aware and injury-free work environment.
• Team Coordination : Collaborate effectively with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and logistics staff to meet daily thought-provide targets and shipment timelines.

Slip Sheet Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements :

Forklift Certification : Must hold a valid forklift operator license, preferably with experience using slip sheet attachments.

High School Diploma or GED : Basic education is often required.

Experience : 13 years operating forklifts in warehouse or distribution environments; prior use of push-pull attachments is a plus.

Basic Math & Literacy Skills : Ability to read instructions, count inventory, and perform simple calculations.

Computer Skills : Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software.

Background and drug screening required
