Travel CT Tech. Company : Fusion Medical Staffing. Location : Facility in Farmville, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA / ARC)

Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposesPrepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriatelySet appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathologyProvide high‑quality images to Radiologist for interpretationAdhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safetyPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionalityDocument patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s systemCollaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic servicesAdapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilitiesPerform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practiceRequired Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skillsAbility to read, write, and communicate in the English languageAbility to read / comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skillsPhysical abilities – ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bendInterpersonal skills – work effectively with a variety of personnel while presenting a positive attitude and professionalismTechnical / motor skills – fine manipulation, push / pull, and movement assistance for proceduresMental requirements – cope with frequent contact with the general public, meet deadlines under pressure, work under supervision or independently, handle irregular activity schedules, maintain focus on detailSensory requirements – visual acuity and effective communicationBenefits Include
