General Surgeon

Seeking fully trained U.S. board eligible / certified and licensed General Surgeons for full-time opportunities.

(Not a remote or telemedicine position. Various onsite positions throughout the world at military installations.)

Navy medicine has an opportunity for you to serve full time as a General Surgeon. You may also, take part in humanitarian relief efforts stateside and around the world collaborating with fellow military doctors and other healthcare professionals, while partnering with organizations, such as FEMA, USAID, and Project Hope.

Incentives :

• May qualify for a sign-on bonus of $600,000 if fully trained
• A categorically matched resident may be eligible for a $45,000 annual grant and a monthly stipend of $2,728.

• Maternal and Paternal Leave – Twelve weeks of paid maternity leave provided on top of any time needed for convalescent leave during / after pregnancy. Twelve weeks of paternity leave if your spouse is also active duty. Six months to one year deferment from PCS / change of duty station, PT / physical fitness test, or deployment after delivery of a child.
