Key Job Details – Med / Surg RN Travel Assignment Location : Hayward, Wisconsin 54843 Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Medical / Surgical Unit (25 beds) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (start times : 3am or 3pm); work 2 out of every 3 weekends Estimated Weekly Pay : $1780-$1910 Charting System : EPIC Scrub Color : Charcoal / pewter gray (any style) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state At least 1 year of recent medical / surgical nursing experience (first-time travel nurses welcome!) BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Proficient in titrating IV drips (Heparin, insulin, IVF, electrolytes, diltiazem, antibiotics, dopamine, TPN) Experience with adult post-surgical and general medical patients (cardiac, pulmonary, renal, GI, urology, orthopedics) Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult Med / Surg patients Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1 : 4 Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurse aides and house supervisors Document and chart patient care using EPIC electronic medical records Monitor and titrate IV drips as needed for patient care Coordinate with respiratory therapy for ventilator support when required Follow hospital policies, dress code, and participate in orientation and ongoing training Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team in Hayward, WI, and experience the best of travel nursing jobs in Wisconsin.
