Job descriptionEvaluate and treat patients in the emergency department Perform procedures such as lacerations, incisions and drainage, reductions, intubations, chest tubes, and central lines Manage emergency situations alongside attending physicians Run codes and provide critical care as needed Ensure thorough documentation of patient care activities in the Epic EMR system Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Valid Pennsylvania state license required DEA certification necessary Must have ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role required Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Bridge employment gaps or transitions between permanent positions by taking on locum assignments, maintaining income and professional engagement during transitional periods.
