The Financial Planning and Analysis team plays a crucial role in transforming our company's overarching strategies into a comprehensive financial plan and ensuring we have the appropriate resources to accomplish our mission. Reporting to the Supervisor of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will work in a collaborative team environment where you will work with or without direction while maintaining a high standard of accuracy. Responsibilities & Qualifications

In this role:

You can expect to use financial, analytical & technical skill sets to develop budgets, forecasts, dashboards, KPIs, business insights and recommendations to senior management.

This includes:

• Generating quarterly and monthly metrics, financial results, variance analysis, and headcount reporting, corporate financial models, by collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting information that details our operations and future performance.
• Consulting and collaborating directly with assigned departments through one-on-one and divisional meetings by maintaining a business understanding of operations to deliver business insights and required analysis.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on high-level projects. (i.e. trial balance review meetings, dividend calculations, strategic initiative tracking, annual projections, etc.) as well as ad-hoc projects involving both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Managing the annual development of budgets, financial forecasts, staffing models and operating plans for assigned departments.
• Leading the development of cost-benefit analyses to evaluate new projects and capital investment opportunities using appropriate techniques such as NPV and IRR.
• Analyzing complex financial and staffing information and reports to provide accurate financial recommendations to management for decision-making and supporting strategic plans.
• Analyzing current and past trends in measurements including all areas of premium, losses, expenses, and capital expenditures highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.

The successful candidate must have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
• At least two years' experience or equivalent education, training and experience.

The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Your recruiter can discuss the full value of our total compensation package with you, including our generous bonus plans and flex-hybrid work model.

Base Pay Range: $84,699.10 - $104,628.30 Per Year

Texas Mutual's flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs. All Texas Mutual employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to their designated office as needed.
