About the Company

Bergeron Protective Clothing and Equipment (BPC) is a privately held company specializing in the sale of protective clothing and equipment to fire departments in four states. Our product range includes renowned brands such as Globe Firefighter Suits, Globe Footwear, MSA Helmets, Arctic Compressors, Milnor Gear Extractors, Akron Brass Nozzles, and Snap-Tite hose. We have established offices in Epsom, NH and Windham, ME.

About the Role

Bergeron Protective Clothing and Equipment relies on the exceptional performance of its sales team. We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to meet the increasing demands in the State of Massachusetts, the assigned territory would be Western MA (Worcester, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin Counties). Depending on where the candidate lives, there is potential for Southern Vermont as well. This role calls for an individual who is enthusiastic about expanding their skills and using them to make a meaningful contribution to local fire departments. Responsibilities

  • Manage existing accounts, ensure customer satisfaction, and foster long-term relationships.
  • Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
  • Conduct daily sales calls, provide quotes, and generate new business leads.
  • Submit orders remotely and resupply van inventory in NH bi-weekly as needed.
  • Provide customers with product knowledge and expertise, recommending materials and services based on their needs and interests.

Qualifications

Preferred : 2 years of outside sales experience.

Preferred : 1 year of experience in the fire service industry.

Preferred : 1 year of experience in SAP or ERP system.

Required Skills

  • Willingness to travel across Western Massachusetts and cover all assigned counties.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
