Location : Charlotte, NC

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4x12s Nights

Pay : $2899 / week

Completion Bonus : Up to $7,500 total. ( You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to work in a lower acuity, inpatient behavioral health unit licensed as a Facility Based Crisis Center. This unit specializes in detox and low acuity patients dealing with suicidal ideation, mild anxiety, depression, substance abuse (rare opioid withdrawal), psychosis, and other behavioral or personality disorders. The typical length of stay is around five days. This role requires an independent, skilled clinician to provide continuous assessment, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and psychosocial support within a structured and secure setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide continuous psychosocial assessment and crisis intervention for patients with acute, low-acuity behavioral health needs.
• Develop and execute comprehensive discharge plans to ensure safe and successful transition to appropriate next levels of care or community resources (typical length of stay is 5 days).
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary team, including nursing staff and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Be prepared to float to a sister unit continuous assessment to cover absences and meet facility needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all clinical services, assessments, and discharge plans in the EPIC electronic health record system.
