Site Coordinator (ROOTS)

The Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs within BGCSCT Program Sites, such as Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, Sports-Fitness & Recreation and Healthy Lifestyles.  This person will work closely with the Programs Director to plan & oversee the administration of designated programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes.

The Site Coordinator will maintain program goals that ensure the health and safety of members while overseeing proper record keeping / reporting for activities / events conducted and participation & attendance data.  The Site Coordinator will work closely with the Programs Director to establish and maintain relationships with potential partnering organizations, local ISD’s and businesses.  The Site Coordinator also ensures productive and effective performance by all program staff, volunteers and mentors.

The Site Coordinator reports to the Programs Director and will serve as a substitute instructor as needed for the Texas Preparatory School.

• Communicating with potential partnering organizations, local schools and businesses;
• Managing staff & event coordination;
• Related study or work experience field;
• Operating office machines and personal computers;
• Working with little supervision;

Days : Monday – Friday; Scheduled Saturdays

Hours : 9 : 30 AM – 6 : 30 PM

Salary : $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
