Job Description : Kitchen Manager at The Weather Room at Cyrus Hotel.

Location : Downtown Topeka, KS

Compensation : $60,000-$70,000 salary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in continuing operations and future growth.

Position Overview :

The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food, and maintaining guest satisfaction. This role is instrumental in implementing best practices from our existing restaurant portfolio and establishing new processes for The Weather Room.

Key Responsibilities :

• Kitchen Operations :

Oversee daily kitchen activities to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation.

Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure a skilled and cohesive team.

Monitor food costs, inventory levels, and wastage to keep expenses in line with budgetary targets.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness.

Work closely with the General Manager and Food & Beverage Director to innovate and refresh the menu based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.

Collaborate with front-of-house staff and management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
