Key Responsibilities
Monitor and review payment denials and process claims within assigned time frames
Utilize telephone and carrier websites to expedite resolution of issues
Assemble and forward documentation for appeals and assist in developing denial procedures
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous medical billing experience preferred, focusing on denial research and appeal processing
Knowledge of Physician Billing Policies and Procedures across multiple states
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and GE Centricity Business / ETM
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
