Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 30 / 2025 Duration : 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location : Marion, IN Duration : 8 weeks Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (18 : 00 – 06 : 30) Job Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in critical care and emergency settings. Perform ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV, and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC). Draw and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and communicate results to the healthcare team. Assist with intubation and extubation procedures, manage tracheostomy care, and provide airway management and pulmonary hygiene. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and nebulizer treatments. Set up and maintain respiratory equipment including bubble CPAP, pressure / volume ventilators, and oxygen delivery systems. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in the respiratory care rotation as needed. Required Skills & Experience : Minimum of 3 years of recent respiratory therapy experience across all age groups. Prior travel assignment experience (required). Meditech charting experience (preferred). Proficiency in ventilator management, ABG sampling and interpretation, and neonatal / pediatric respiratory support. Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills. Ability to float between facilities as required.
