Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Wellness and Support Services and managed by the THRIVE : School Mental Health Manager, the class of School Crisis Counselors works in a school setting with children, parents and families. School Crisis Counselors perform work under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and counsel children and parents who have experienced emotional, mental, or situational crises and traumatic events which hamper their ability to learn.

This is a short-term position with potential for extension of services
