Project Manager – K-12 Construction

Location : Traveling Project Manager

Sector : K-12 / Education / Commercial / Healthcare Construction

Reports To : Senior Project Manager or Project Executive

Position Overview

The Project Manager (PM) will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of K-12 education construction projects , ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual serves as the primary point of contact between the Owner, Architect, and Field Operations , managing all phases from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Oversee all phases of new school construction, additions, and major renovations.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, subcontracts, and procurement strategies.
• Lead weekly Owner / Architect / Contractor (OAC) meetings and maintain detailed meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with site superintendents to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications through project management software.
• Ensure compliance with district standards, local code, and TEA / TAS / TASB requirements.
• Drive turnover and warranty completion with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
