Respiratory Therapist Role $50 to $55 per hour Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - LTAC Hospital Philadelphia, Pennsylvania About the Opportunity MedAdventures is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our partner LTAC facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This position is ideal for a skilled clinician who thrives in a critical care environment and is dedicated to providing high-quality respiratory therapy to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization and ventilator management. Responsibilities Deliver respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols. Manage and monitor ventilator-dependent patients, perform weaning protocols, and conduct ventilator checks. Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and other therapeutic modalities. Conduct diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases (ABGs), pulmonary function assessments, and pulse oximetry. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record. Ensure adherence to infection control and safety policies. Qualifications Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - CRT candidates will not be considered. Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner license required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (through AHA). Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute or LTAC hospital setting preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team. Schedule & Compensation Full-time, contract position with possible extension. Day and night shifts available. Competitive pay package with weekly direct deposit.
