Careers That Change Lives

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading all activities related to post-market product lifecycle management (PLM), including strategy development, execution oversight, and cross-functional alignment. This role ensures that products continue to meet the needs of the Operating Unit (OU) throughout their commercial lifecycle, from launch through obsolescence.

The ideal candidate will possess broad cross-functional expertise and strong business acumen, providing leadership across product development, quality, regulatory, finance, operations, and marketing. The Sr. Product Manager will serve as a key liaison within the OU and across sibling Operating Units, driving product continuity, portfolio health, and lifecycle strategy alignment.

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive product lifecycle sustainment strategies across the portfolio.

Collaborate with functional stakeholders to integrate lifecycle considerations from New Product Introduction (NPI) through product end-of-life.

Influence commercialization and obsolescence strategies based on market dynamics and operational readiness.

Serve as the primary contact for identifying, assessing, and resolving product lifecycle issues, including quality-related concerns.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution

Advocate for and secure resources and funding necessary to sustain a commercially viable and competitive product portfolio.

Align key Operating Unit functions on planning, execution, budget management, and issue resolution in support of lifecycle goals.

Collaborate with other OUs and external partners to ensure platform products serve cross-business needs and long-term sustainability.

Partner with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) teams to ensure lifecycle inputs are embedded in short- and long-term planning processes.

Collaborate closely with NPI teams to ensure lifecycle strategies are aligned and integrated into early-stage development and launch plans.

Execution Oversight & Risk Management

Monitor progress of lifecycle sustainment plans, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Manage lifecycle-related project spend, ensuring alignment with financial targets and organizational priorities.

Stakeholder Communication & Governance

Maintain effective communication with OU leadership, cross-functional team members, and functional heads (VPs and Directors) to ensure alignment and transparency.

Establish clear, ongoing communications across all stakeholders—internal and external—on matters of product availability, quality, and continuity.

Develop and lead regular portfolio health reviews and governance mechanisms tailored to various stakeholder groups, including senior leadership.
