License : Must meet the criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional, including a Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with LMSW, LLP, or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan. Certifications : Candidates must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire. Candidates must possess a CAADC credential or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire. Must-Have : - Minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity. - Excellent clinical assessment, triage, and crisis intervention skills. - Ability to handle crisis situations in a calm and professional manner. - Competency working collaboratively with clients, family members, agency staff, and community partners. - Ability to work both independently and as a team member. - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail necessary to track, prepare, and report data. - A nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of adults with mental illness and / or co-occurring substance use disorders and their families. Description : In this role, you will oversee the delivery of crisis screening and intervention services. You will also manage intensive case management services. The team will provide crisis screening, intervention, and referrals for aftercare to adults referred by local police departments and other community partners. Crisis services are offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays. The Intensive Case Management team will offer intensive case management and crisis intervention services to adults at risk for psychiatric readmission or repeated emergency psychiatric services. Clients under court order for Assisted Outpatient Treatment and those deemed Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity will also be served. Regular working hours are Monday through Thursday 8 : 30 am to 7 : 00 pm and Friday 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm. Based on client and program needs, additional hours, including evenings and weekends, are expected. You will arrange and / or provide after-hours coverage for crisis calls to support program staff as needed. Mileage reimbursement is available when a personal vehicle is used.
