SUMMARY :
You will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may be required to prepare test data and identify areas for quality control improvements.

- Developing and maintaining company inspection reports.
- Inspecting goods and products according to quality and safety standards.
- Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
- Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.
- Collating test data and drafting quality reports.
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
- Analyze defects and placement of held material.
- Ability to read tape measures, micrometers, and other testing equipment.

Q UALIFICATIONS AND E DUCATION R EQUIREMENTS
Education : High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months of manufacturing experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience as an inspection or quality technician.Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.High-level of visual awareness.Advanced organizational skills.Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.Math and tape test will be required for all.ESSENTIAL P HYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties required of this position, the employee is constantly required to stand for long periods, walk, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.The employee will occasionally be required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.Employee must regularly lift and / or move up to fifty (50) pounds or more than fifty (50) pounds with assistance or proper equipment.Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.This role requires the employee to concentrate for extended periods of time.WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment includes moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.There is the possibility the employee will occasionally be exposed to high precarious places, hazardous chemicals, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.The noise level in the work environment can be considered loud.The temperature is not completely controlled and can be related to seasonal conditions.HAZMAT INCIDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
TrainingAs needed - Initial and annual training on elements of OSHA HazCom and EPA hazardous waste operating procedures, DOT hazmat handling procedures, incidental spill response protocol, evacuation drills and flammable liquid fire safety procedures.Applicant must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
