Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and skilled Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will receive calls, perform scheduling assignments and make quick decisions to ensure the proper action is taken in a busy limousine / private passenger transportation office. Our ideal candidate is highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Our ideal candidate is also a friendly "people person" with excellent customer service skills, appropriate telephone etiquette, the ability to work well with others and learn new computer applications. Knowledge of the local demographics (South Jersey / Philadelphia) a must.

Performance review after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound calls
• Collect and document information from callers
• Prioritize calls according to the level of urgency
• Transmit information to the appropriate person or department
• Direct drivers to appropriate location
• Monitor status of all drivers and job assignments

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED
• Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar position
• Excellent typing and data entry skills
• Understanding of local demographics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects
• Ability to work well under pressure
