Key Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative support to the hospice leadership team and clinical staff.
- Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and direct inquiries professionally.
- Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies.
- Assist with scheduling visits, meetings, and staff coordination.
- Prepare and organize reports, forms, and correspondence.
- Support billing, payroll, and HR processes as needed.
- Ensure office supplies and equipment are maintained and ordered as necessary.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).Previous administrative or healthcare office experience (hospice / home health experience a plus).Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and EMR systems (experience preferred), or willing to be trained.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations.Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting patients, families, and staff.Benefits :
