About Us

Embrace is a growing, client-centered private practice offering high-quality therapy services in Cortland, OH and Austintown, OH, with a team of licensed therapists dedicated to supporting individuals and families across the lifespan. We're now expanding to include psychiatric services and are looking for our  first PMHNP  to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, entrepreneurial clinician who wants to shape their own role in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Position Summary

The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric care to clients referred internally by our therapy team and from the community. This role is  flexible and autonomous , ideal for someone who values independence, professional collaboration, and being part of an evolving integrated mental health practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions
  • Provide medication management and psychoeducation
  • Collaborate with therapists on treatment planning and continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR
  • Manage own scheduling, client communication, and follow-ups
  • Participate in optional team meetings, case consultation, or supervision (if desired)

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted  PMHNP license in Ohio
  • Current DEA registration
  • At least 1 year of experience in psychiatric care preferred
  • Comfortable working independently in a private practice setting
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and clinical judgment skills

    • What We Offer

  • Flexible scheduling – set your own hours. Looking for someone to start 16 hours a week (preferably one day in Austintown and one day in Cortland). Evening or weekend hours would be a huge bonus, but not required. Opportunity for more hours as caseload grows.

    Job Type : Part-time

    Pay : From $63.00 per hour

    Expected hours : 16 per week
