Role Overview - Six Month contract opportunity - Remote (US)

As a UI / UX Developer specializing in Salesforce, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing user interfaces and experiences within the Salesforce ecosystem. Your primary focus will be on creating intuitive and efficient interfaces tailored to meet the needs of our users, with a keen eye for detail and usability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective UI / UX designs within the Salesforce platform.
  • Develop and customize UI components, layouts, and visual designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Implement and optimize user flows, navigation paths, and interactive elements to enhance overall user experience.
  • Utilize Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and other design frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across different Salesforce modules.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and user flow assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement design adjustments accordingly.
  • Stay updated on the latest UI / UX trends, Salesforce updates, and best practices to continually enhance our Salesforce applications.

Desired Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a UI / UX Developer with a strong focus on Salesforce development.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Lightning Experience, including Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Lightning Design System.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) module is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with B2B platforms and understanding of B2B user experience principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess user flows and make data-driven design decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I / II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist.
  • Experience with other Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Community Cloud.
