Principal Pricing Analyst

The Principal Pricing Analyst leads various types of proposals for development, production, and competitive contracts works on large / complex proposals. This role leads and supports reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management.

Position Responsibilities :

• Leads pricing support for all phases of the proposal process - proposal development thru negotiations.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the current regulatory environment relative to the submission of proposals to the federal government (FAR, DFARS, TINA, etc.)
• Develops complex cost, pricing, and business models
• Effectively organizes and leads a proposal team to support large proposals
• Assesses RFP cost volume requirements and translates them into a fully compliant cost proposal.
• Uses proposal analysis to impact proposal quality, cost realism and reasonableness via Basis of Estimating reviews and by using comparisons to other practices
• Effectively manages proposal development with the business development process and pricing & estimating policies
• Supports proposal audits (pre and post award)
• Mentors pricing analysts and associated staff
• Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual / project requirements for program
• Other duties as assigned

The salary range for this role is : $120,686 - $170,940. AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and / or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR").
