We are seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with strong experience in Controlling (CO), FERC, and FICA to provide high-level L4 support for a global SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing end-user issues and escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L4-level SAP FICO support for complex production issues across Finance and Controlling.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve critical FICO incidents, ensuring stability and continuity in the production environment.
- Support and enhance processes within General Ledger (GL), AP / AR, Asset Accounting, CO-PA, Cost Center Accounting, and related areas.
- Lead issue resolution involving FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable).
- Support accounting and reporting processes aligned with FERC standards.
- Work closely with business users to understand requirements, pain points, and system dependencies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to drive functional specs, testing, and deployment of fixes.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and best practices.
- Manage communication and expectations with end users, business partners, and leadership.
- Prepare documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.Strong functional expertise in CO (Controlling) modules.Hands-on experience with FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) accounting processes.Working knowledge of FICA (FI-CA) for contract accounts.Proven background in L4 or advanced production support roles.Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and end-to-end process understanding.Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage end users, explain complex issues, and handle escalations professionally.Ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams, SAP Basis, security, and business SMEs.Nice to Have
