SERVICE TECHNICIAN

DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the Fire, EMS and Industrial Safety Equipment distribution business, is looking for a highly self-motivated individual to service high pressure air compressors, fire extinguishers, hose repairs, and ventilation fan repairs ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and professionalism within our New Jersey Fire Service Division.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Focusing on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to, reporting any existing or potential safety concerns to management
• Coordinate daily schedules with supervisors and management, working as part of a team
• Promptly arrive at the facilities prepared to perform the services as scheduled
• Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required
• Effectively and efficiently communicate any issues / problems with management
• Complete vehicle cleaning and maintenance duties as directed
• Perform required service and repair of high-pressure air compressor systems, air cascade units and truck mounted systems, fire extinguishers, hose repairs, and ventilation fans.
• Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management
